Social Justice Engineering
Social justice engineering looks out how engineering affects social justice issues - in both a positive way by finding solutions to overcome them - and in a negative way, in terms of creating solutions that are inaccessible to some people, or create disproportionate disadvantage for some sections of society. This page is being created.
The images below are from a World Federation of Engineering Organisations project to look at the disproportionate advantage faced by women around the world, and how engineering can be used to tackle this disadvantage. The full banners can be seen here.
